Schladming’s 4 Mountain Ski Link connects the four largest Styrian skiing mountains allowing you to ski non-stop from Hauser-Kaibling via Planai and Hochwurzen to Reiteralm.

No matter, if you choose the international flair of the skiing capital Schladming or simply mean to relax and enjoy a few precious days of glorious skiing at your favourite skiing resort. You will certainly enjoy your time here!

Hopsi, the mascot of the Planai and Hochwurzen, accompanies your little ones and gives them sweets and treats to make the first steps on snow that little bit easier. The first snow experiences are made even the more exciting for our small guests on the Marchenpistes with a moving carpet, Indian Tent, snow caves and much more.

For fun and playful learning from snowploughs and stem turns all the way to the first run in deep snow, there are two ski schools to choose from.

Tobogganing
A ride on a good old-fashioned wooden sled guarantees fun for the young and young-at-heart. A  moonlight sledding expedition is truly memorable, with the magic of a winter’s night reflected in a sea of glistening snow crystals.

Atomic Super Park

In winter, the Hochwurzen and Planneralm operate professionally shaped and maintained snow parks, while in early summer and autumn, freestylers and top international pros push themselves to the max at the Atomic Super Park up on the Dachstein!

The Schladming Dachstein region is regarded as the most pioneering snowboard area in all of the Eastern Alps.

Explore the amazing winter landscape with snowshoes or touring skis. Probably one of the most impressive tours anywhere in the Alps is Austria’s National Ski Tour, the Dachstein crossing to Hallstatt. In the process, you cover some 25 km and span 2,000 m in elevation. The Dachstein Glacier Lift spares you any hard climbs. For this tour, which lasts 4 to 5 hours, you
don’t need any special touring equipment. But you should definitely enjoy it with the assistance of a local guide .

When billions upon billions of snow crystals blanket our landscapes in a magical winter white, this is the ideal time to discover the recreation you seek. 50 km of winter hiking paths lead you out into silent crystal worlds.

And Ramsau, Austria’s centre of Nordic sports is only a few kilometers away from our guesthouse.
